My little guy is gonna gift these to his classmates. We followed this tutorial here at Beach Brights. And we got these perfect little Christmas Crayons. It was very simple, just required a little time because you must let them cool in the pan..jpg)
We just so happened to have the Wilton treat bags and they were a perfect fit! I mean PERFECT! Label from Wilton bags shown below..jpg)
We then went to What Katie Scrapped and found the cute little freebie bag tags and actually emailed her for blank ones so that we could add our own personalized text. And what do you know she already had them! We just re sized them to 3" wide to fit our bags. .jpg)
So fun! The kids love them. I hear the star is the best because when one point wares down you have 4 more. Hehe!

The Simply Ornate Monogram ring has been discontinued. So sad to see it go as it is a favorite of many. There are still a few left in all sizes except size 7. Size 7 is done. Once the other sizes sell out this item will be gone forever! :(
The Monogram Sterling Silver Square Ring has also been discontinued and only a few in size 5 or 9 are still available. This one is actually one of my faves so simple but pretty.If you've had your eye on one of these don't hesitate or it might be gone!

Here is a great way to get ready for Thanksgiving and the true meaning behind this scrumdiddlyumptious holiday.
We know we're a few days late for this one but it is really simple and you can just do two of them on a couple of days to catch up. A Thanksgiving Countdown! We first saw this over at Blue Cricket Design and knew we had to do this with our little ones. Here is how we did ours.
Create and print thankful countdown ideas. Cut them out, roll them up into little scrolls and tape. Next, place them all in a jar. And each day until Thanksgiving pull one out and do what it suggests. Very fun and the kids really do look forward to doing this each day.
We already had the jar, we just added some ribbon and a leaf. And printed the thankful label on card stock, cut it out and stuck it on with double sided tape. Awe, how pretty!

Our old jar did not have a lid. So we thought and thought and remembered, we have a huge mayo jar that is almost empty in the fridge. Humm, I wonder?? Yes! It fits! How great is that? But that dark blue lid was ugly, so we covered it with some scrapbook paper. Doesn't it look great?

Pictures On A Budget & A Freebie 8x10

One way to decorate your home on a budget is to hit up your local thrift stores. I'm a sucker for used! Take these pictures below for example. Cute, but not my style! The frames were in perfect condition and the glass too. I knew I could find something to do with them!

Ahh! Much better! So nice in the bathroom! And doing such a wonderful job marking our spots.
I spray painted the frames black, separated the 2 layers of matting, threw out the smaller one and spray painted the larger one white. (Be sure to use matte/flat paint when painting the matting or it will look wet once in the frame and pressed up against the glass.) I had the His and Hers pictures laying around. (One of those things that I liked but didn't know when or where I would use them.) And now I have some neat pictures that I love!
I had another wall that needed a picture too so I created one to match. If you like it feel free to click on it below to enlarge, then right click on it and save it to your computer. Send it to your local photo lab and have them print it in an 8x10 or smaller.
