Teacher Sanitizer Gift {with Printable}

This 2+ idea originally came from Oopsey Daisy and I thought it was the most adorable end of year teacher gift.

BUT (yes I have a big but hehe!) I do not own a Cricut. So Circut makers if you're reading and would love to bless me with one I would be more than happy to take one off your hands!

I recreated the 2+ design but used The Idea Room method instead to make my sanitizer gift. No Circut required.
Simply have your design printed on an overhead transparency. This must be done with a laser printer/copier so your ink won't run. Your local office store or print shop can do this for a small fee. Mine cost me about a buck 50.

Pick up some sanitizer next time you are at the store. Take off the labels. Cut your design down to size and roll back to place it inside your sanitizer. Use the pump to adjust the placement of your design. So easy!

Click HERE to download and print! One says great one says sweet in case you didn't notice. Enjoy!!

Innkeepers Key with Printable

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

This year my kiddo will be gifting these Innkeeper Keys to a few of the people that work at his school. A simple skeleton key ornament which represents the Innkeepers key. The Innkeeper in Luke 2 in the Bible that told Mary and Joseph that there was no room for them in the inn.

This idea came entirely from Amy at The Idea Room where she posted this last year. I simply created a small card for the key which you can print and use if you like.

"Each of us is an innkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus." Neal A. Maxwell

The skeleton keys are from a local hardware store. We tied a small ribbon for a hanger. Then punched two small holes in the card on either side of the key and tied the key on with another ribbon. Our printable card below includes the poem below and the quote above by Neal A. Maxwell. Both of which were found on the Idea Room blog. Thanks Amy!

A Prayer For December:
Dearest God,
Please never let me
Crowd my life
Full to the brim.
So like the keeper of Bethlehem’s Inn,
I find I have no room for Him.
Instead, let my heart’s door
Be ever open,
Ready to welcome
The newborn King.
Let me offer the best I have
To Him
Who gives me everything.

Easy end of year teacher gift.

A Hydrangea in a basket and that red basket is actually a sun hat! So it's like 2 gifts in one.

Oh yeah and that card is actually that set of personalized stationary I won from the English Pea! So it's like 3 gifts in one. :)
We wrapped the pot of the plant in the sun hat ($2.50 Target) and tied with tulle.

Then we securely taped the package of personalized stationary to a dowel and stuck it in. The English Pea stationary comes packaged in a clear cello bag so it worked out perfectly for attaching to the dowel.
