{What Do I Know of Holy}: Lonely on Valentine's Day

Wednesday, February 15, 2012

I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day surrounded by loved ones.

We gave the boys their valentines from us yesterday afternoon and then we put them to bed early so that we could  have a little time to ourselves.

We put in the movie Date Night, ordered in Chinese and made a chocolate lava cake in the crockpot - a recipe that I found on Pinterest. It turned out great, but would be even better with ice cream on top, which I meant to buy at the store but forgot.

It was a low-key but fabulous time celebrating our 11th Valentine's Day together!

I realize, however, that many of you may not have had such an enjoyable time.

Maybe your valentine was out of town. Maybe you were with your valentine but did not want to be. Maybe you do not have a valentine. Or worse - maybe you buried your valentine a few years ago.

Whatever the case may be, I want you to know that you do have a valentine. And access to a love like no other.

Real love looks like Jesus Christ and was defined by Him when He gave His life in exchange for those who crucified Him.

Have you accepted his love for you?

Go here to learn how you can begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Don't spend another day without him.
