Hey I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for your help with the Bring Brady Home fundraiser. With your help we were able to raise over $500 dollars to help the Hartmans bring Brady home. So thank you all who donated to win the lovely prize package.

The Heartmans are so close to bringing him home. They have made a huge trip once where they got to meet and bond with him and will soon be going back to get him. Please keep them in prayer and encourage them. You can visit them HERE.

And this is very important, a huge THANK YOU to the lovely sponsors that donated prizes for Brady. You will have a permanent place here on this post. I encourage everyone to go check them out. If you are in need of gifts, go check them out. Wanna get yourself something nice, go check them out! Thank you sponsors for giving hearts! Click on links below to visit them.

We thank you Lord for the many service men and women that bravely defend and protect our great country. And the many that paid the ultimate sacrifice and have laid down their own life.

Thank you military men and women and families! We love you! We support you and are forever grateful for you.

Hi friends! Today I want to share a little bit of 517 Creations. MJ is the very creative lady behind 517 Creations and she creates some wonderful handmade items. These first 2 are my personal favorites!

I need one of these superhero capes for each of my boys. Don't you love when they play superhero? I sure do! But I love anything they play that requires them to use their imagination and these may be just the thing! And they're personalized!
And the camera strap cover, ahhhh. Love. I'll take several of these please!

She creates these very cool Chosen Child shirts and donates $5 from each one to our adopting families! (Go HERE for more info about our adopting families.) It's the shape of your chosen country and a heart sewn on! I think one of the USA with a heart over your state would be cool too.
Chosen Child t-shirt: Child classic fit

And at the 517 Creations blog you'll find some great stuff like the ruler growth chart which is a Pottery Barn knock off! Also some great tutorials and her fab kitchen redo! ↓↓↓

I always love a giveaway. Don't you? 517 Creations and I have decided to swap giveaways. So today I'm posting hers and she will be posting mine sometime soon on her blog. Where she'll be giving away the i am necklace.

So what's up for grabs here? I thought you'd never ask! How about this loveliness!
A new ruffle clutch!!! Isn't it pretty?! I love it. If you win can I have it? lol just kidding!

Teacher Sanitizer Gift {with Printable}

This 2+ idea originally came from Oopsey Daisy and I thought it was the most adorable end of year teacher gift.

BUT (yes I have a big but hehe!) I do not own a Cricut. So Circut makers if you're reading and would love to bless me with one I would be more than happy to take one off your hands!

I recreated the 2+ design but used The Idea Room method instead to make my sanitizer gift. No Circut required.
Simply have your design printed on an overhead transparency. This must be done with a laser printer/copier so your ink won't run. Your local office store or print shop can do this for a small fee. Mine cost me about a buck 50.

Pick up some sanitizer next time you are at the store. Take off the labels. Cut your design down to size and roll back to place it inside your sanitizer. Use the pump to adjust the placement of your design. So easy!

Click HERE to download and print! One says great one says sweet in case you didn't notice. Enjoy!!

Nana/Grandma's Birdies

Saturday, May 7, 2011

Hi guys! I have some last chance minute Mother's Day printables for Nana. I call them Nana's little blue birdies.

Print one up in an 8x10. I recommend Costco's 1 hr lab, matte finish but you can do it at home too if you have a decent printer with ink. Place in a frame and bam a perfect gift! Click on the one you want, click it again to enlarge, right click it and save to your computer, then print.

I did them in Nana and Grandma with up to 6 birdies. So here's the deal. I wanted to make the birds in pink and blue for boys and girls but with 6 birds the combinations of pinks and blues would be too much. So I hope you like them in blue. Just call them blue birds. Some birds really are blue you know?! Not to common is the pink bird. Or a cute one anyway! :) I did include the single bird in pink for that only girl grandchild.

Made with kits from Katie at Just so Scrappy. Katie is super great! Aren't those birds adorable? Go say hi and tell her Cap Creations sent ya!

Enjoy and pretty please let me know if you use them. It really is nice to know when your stuff is enjoyed! :) Oh one more thing! PLEASE for personal use only. Meaning, use the heck out of then but do not take these and try to SELL them as your own. PLEASE. And thank you!

And Happy Mother's Day tomorrow!
