Sadly when you're a kid learning about this history you don't always give it much thought. Now that I am older I have a better understanding and appreciation for what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. did to fight for equality and against racial discrimination. The thing that I find most crazy is that this was not that long ago. Can you imagine?
