Christmas Card Hang Tags

STOP! Don't throw those Christmas cards in the trash!

Gather them up and make Christmas hang tags for next Christmas! I used a jumbo puncher with a scalloped edge to create these.

Just make sure there is no wording on the back side of where you will punch.

Next I'll punch a small hole and add a string. The back side is perfect for the to and from!

Innkeepers Key with Printable

This year my kiddo will be gifting these Innkeeper Keys to a few of the people that work at his school. A simple skeleton key ornament which represents the Innkeepers key. The Innkeeper in Luke 2 in the Bible that told Mary and Joseph that there was no room for them in the inn.

This idea came entirely from Amy at The Idea Room where she posted this last year. I simply created a small card for the key which you can print and use if you like.

The skeleton keys are from a local hardware store. We tied a small ribbon for a hanger. Then punched two small holes in the card on either side of the key and tied the key on with another ribbon. Our printable card below includes the poem below and the quote above by Neal A. Maxwell. Both of which were found on the Idea Room blog. Thanks Amy!

Freebie Photo Christmas Cards

Hello there. Christmas is quickly approaching! Are you ready? This might help!

I created a few Christmas card templates for you to use if you like! All of these are in the Costco Greeting Card size which is 7.5x6. The great thing about using Costco for your custom photo cards is you get the envelopes too and at a great price!

Each card was created using digital kits from Summertime Designs (thank you Summer) and all are included in the download. Each has a sample that shows where you can add a photo and wording.

To create your card you will want to open the "png" files in a photo editing program (like photoshop or comparable). Simply add a photo and a message if you like. Then save as a "jpeg" and send over to Costco for printing. I highly suggest you use the "matte" or "lustre" finish instead of the "glossy".

Fun for Friday - Christmas Time Waster

Happy Friday y'all! Here is a fun little game I found online. The object is to try to hop your cute little snow bunny up the bells. And be sure to aim for those birds they give you bonus points! The music is quite soothing but felt some tension while playing. lol! Hope you have as much fun with it as I did. Enjoy!
