This year my kiddo will be gifting these Innkeeper Keys to a few of the people that work at his school. A simple skeleton key ornament which represents the Innkeepers key. The Innkeeper in Luke 2 in the Bible that told Mary and Joseph that there was no room for them in the inn.
This idea came entirely from Amy at
The Idea Room where she posted
this last year. I simply created a small card for the key which you can print and use if you like.

The skeleton keys are from a local hardware store. We tied a small ribbon for a hanger. Then punched two small holes in the card on either side of the key and tied the key on with another ribbon. Our printable card below includes the poem below and the quote above by Neal A. Maxwell. Both of which were found on the Idea Room blog. Thanks Amy!
