Halloween Fabric Flower Hair Clips

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Remember the lovely Halloween fabric from yesterday? So what does one do when they can't sew but are surrounded with tons of lovely fabric??? Find something to do with it of course! Sometimes we just can't pass up those gorgeous fabrics, right?

I found this great tutorial HERE at Wise Craft for these awesome Fabric Flowers! It's dated back to 2006 but it is still awesome! Just look at the greatness that came out of it!

How cute are they?
Seriously??? I made those?? I still can't believe it! I'm kinda clueless with it comes to fabric (just so you know). These were so easy EVEN I COULD DO IT!!!

The tutorial is for a pin but I made them into hair clips instead. And because they are for children I shrunk the pattern to about 75%. They are beautiful, I can't stop looking at them!

  2. That is very nice. I'm way into fabrics and this is a good use of small pieces that tend to go unused.

    Thanks for sharing!
