Free Kids Workshop

Friday, September 25, 2009

Did you know that Lowe's and The Home Depot offer free workshops for kids? They say ages 5 or 6 and older but the little ones like to do it too! They just need more help. Just look at what my kiddos did!
A drum from Lowe's.
Lowe's does this every other week. Your kids get a kid sized Lowe's apron and safety goggles (so cute)! And when they finish building their project they get a certificate and a patch of the project they just completed to add to their apron.

And from the Home Depot?
A Bean Bag Toss - Bean bags included! We had to use our own paint.
The Home Depot has their workshop the first Saturday of every month.  They are supposed to have aprons too but my Home Depot is always out.  They also give a certificate and instead of a patch they give you a neat pin of the project to put on your apron.

Isn't that great? Both Lowe's and The Home Depot provide you with little kits and directions and you put them together.

Next at Lowe's this Saturday (9/26) from 10 AM to 11 AM A Fire Truck!

Next at The Home Depot Sat. Oct. 3 a Fire House Bank!
