Thank for the comments on my Tonka truck last week! I love the idea of filling it with candy and using as a candy dish! The website is in FULL swing so nothing thrifty from me today but we do have some great features from last week.
If you are looking for a way to bring more of Jesus into your Christmas please check out this free countdown printable.

25 Names of Jesus Countdown Display Idea
Sunday, December 2, 2012
Yesterday I posted the 25 Names of Jesus Countdown, which is a free printable item. Today I want to share one idea on how to display them.
Erin of Worthy of the Prize asked me to create this printable countdown, each day she will be explaining one of the 25 names and she wanted a printable to go along with it. Be sure to follow along at Worthy of the Prize. This is a great way to keep Christ in Christmas! If you haven't snagged this printable yet you can do so HERE.
The general idea for this countdown is to cover one name of Jesus each day and discuss it together as a family, also counting down the days to Christmas. There are several ways to display this countdown, here is just one!
• First print each part, front and back. You can do this at home or save the files and have a local print shop do it for your.
• After you have printed each part (front and back) cut them out.
• Next punch a hole in the middle of the left an right sides.• Using a really long ribbon or string, slide on each part to create a long garland.
• String the entire garland around your tree or display anywhere in your home.
• Each day remove one countdown name/number. Read the Bible verse on the back side and discuss the name for that day together as a family. When you get to number 1 you will have covered 25 names of Jesus! Yeah now that's Christ in Christmas right there baby!!!
Like I said this is just one way to display it. You could also, instead of removing one each day, add one instead. This way will allow you to build your garland each day and at the end have the complete set of names for display. If you come up with something else we'd love to hear about it!!!

The 25 Names of Jesus Printable Countdown
Saturday, December 1, 2012
A description for each of the 25 Names of Jesus can be found over at Worthy of the Prize. Visit them daily as they encourage you to count down to Christmas while exploring the 25 Names of Jesus.
These are available for free for personal use or for gifting completed projects with them. I do ask however instead of making tons of copies for all your friends please direct them back here to down load their own set.
Click on each image below, when they open right click and print or save if printing at an office store.
Printable parts below are to be printed on the back side of the matching one from above. I find it easiest to print all the front parts first and then match up the back sides.
After all parts are printed cut out and use/display as you choose. Please let us know if you print them we'd love to hear how you use them!
This great penny keychain features a penny from your special year and a sterling silver disc. The silver disc is hand stamped with your choosing and the penny with a heart around the year. Be it your wedding year or the birth/adoption of your children, you select the year. It hangs on a stainless steel keyring so you can easily attach to your keys. We can fit up to 9 characters (letters & spaces) on the penny.

Thrifty Love {link party #51}
Monday, November 19, 2012
Okay so yeah I've been a little MIA lately huh? Here's the scoop! I am now entering my busy season. It's that time of year when I get to make lots of jewelry goodies for Christmas gifts! Many folks know that my jewelry is hand crafted and hand crafted takes time so it's best to order early to guarantee arrival by Christmas. I truly appreciate those early birds! It's also that time for holiday bazaars and sales that keep us busy. Before I enter this season I also try to get all of my own Christmas prep and shopping done for my home and family, this way when there's a mad rush from the business the home front is all a calm! So if I'm a little MIA this time of year that's usually why.
Also just a heads up if you are thinking about ordering, for the first time ever I may be turning off the shopping cart this year on or around December 11th. I don't usually do this however every year I stress on those orders that trail in after my Christmas cut off date. For my peace of mind I may be doing that this year. If you plan on ordering jewelry it's best to do so asap. Click HERE to browse my website.
Now for some Thrifty Love! I want my thrifty friends to know that while I am in my busy season I hope to post the thrifty love link party each week. I may not share my own thrifty thing and I may not have features each week or it might only be one instead of several. The link party will be here though for all to link up and visit each other. I hope you understand and can bear with me through this time of year. Also I am moving the party to Mondays instead of Fridays. Okay? Ooooo-tayyyyyyy!
I do have this vintage first aid kit to share this week.
And all it's vintage contents!
What have you picked up lately?

Thrifty Love {link party #50}
Friday, November 2, 2012
Wow! Have we really already had 50 thrifty link parties? That's awesome!
As you may already know, when I'm not thrifting I'm making jewelry. I wanted some fun ideas from y'all about a thrift theme piece of jewelry. What would you like to see in such a piece? Any fun sayings to include? Lets hear it!
This week I am sharing my teacups/cup and saucer sets. I've been collecting these for probably over a year from various thrift shops and yard sales for one purpose and one purpose only, teacup bird feeders! We've got a holiday craft sale coming up and I will be selling these. I know some of you collectors are gonna wanna kill me for turning some of these lovely sets into bird feeders but except for my own china set (that I got when I got married) I just don't collect them! I know I seem to collect everything else so why not teacups? I don't know??? They are just so much cuter as a bird feeder to me! :)
Don't they make you want to have a Mad Hatter tea party? lol!
Isn't this one lovely? And black... seems rare, I don't see them too often.

2ndhand Moon shows us this fantastic dining set!
I love it, so cool! Isn't it awesome?
Last but definitely not least is this lovely piece from The Cottage Market! Now many of you may already know this butif you're like me and live under a rock then you may not know that The Cottage Market also hosts a thrift theme link-up. Thought you might like to know that if you didn't already!
