What Do I Know of Holy? {ThanksGIVING}

Wednesday, November 30, 2011

As November comes to an end and we wrap up our discussion on gratitude, I would like to talk about {giving back}.

By the way, I am SO sorry I missed last week. We were traveling for Thanksgiving and it completely slipped my mind.

I hope you all had a blessed holiday with loved ones. I know we did. Not only did we get to spend time with family thanking God for his many blessings, but we also got to be there for my husband's grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary celebration. Wow. What. A. Testimony. AND, I was able to be with my baby sister on her engagement night!! The last one to get hitched! Woohoo!!

This is a picture of me and my 2 little sisters. I am the one on the far left. Notice I am wearing  my Cap Creations gather around necklace! ;)

 Give thanks to the Lord for he is good; his love endures forever! {Psalm 107:1}

The proper response in knowing that Jesus gave up his life for us is to give up our lives for him. In the same way, in response to all that God has given to us, we should give to others.

My prayer is that during this Christmas season of giving, you will consider {giving back} what has so graciously been given to you.

One easy way to do this is in your gift giving. You have to buy gifts anyway, so why not buy gifts that {give back}?!

You can find shops all over the web that sell gifts for a good cause! In fact, we are selling these gorgeous Africa Glass Ornaments to help the adopting families that we sponsor raise the $ they need to bring their children home!

What a beautiful reminder of the fact that God sent our savior to the world so that we could become his children! Emmanuel. God with us.

I can't wait to have one hanging from my tree this Christmas!

Please buy one here and/or more importantly, share this fundraiser on your blog/facebook/twitter/etc to help us spread the word!!!

ALL proceeds go to our adopting families and you will have your ornament in time for Christmas. These are only available for purchase through December 7th. No custom orders {sorry!}.

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. {John 14:18}

Be sure to stop by Worthy of the Prize tomorrow for the beginning of our 25 Days of Fitness series {December 1st-25th}, preparing yourself physically and spiritually for the holidays!

Merry Christmas, friends! I just LOVE this time of year! :)
