Very, very Celtic family here...my 7 year old is an Irish dancer and will be performing on St. Pat's - we have corned beef and cabbage at my mother's house, I get my 1 annual Shamrock shake of the year, the husband and I go and have a perfectly poured Guinness at a local pub, as of Sunday, my house is dressed for the holiday!

ReplyDeleteWe try to have a "Green" meal on St. P-day. Green eggs, green hashbrowns, green milk, green ham and green jello. The kids LOOOOOVVVE it! And I'll be honest, so do I. :)

What do I love about st.. Patrick's day? Its my husbands birthday and I love him. I love celebrating and making the day even more spectacular because it is his birthday, I love green and luck, candy and fun. I love thats its something to decorate for!

ReplyDeleteEvery year we have corned beef, potatoes and cabbage and noodles. And, of course, we always wear green. This will be my first year attending the parade in Downtown Cleveland (Ohio) and we'll be taking our 9 month old son. I am hoping to make this another tradition.
