(CLOSED) David Crowder Band CD - Giveaway

Ready for some fun?

I'm sure you've heard of the David Crowder Band! Yeah? Well, if not, where have you been? Church Music is their latest CD which actually came out in Sept/09 but it's what I've been listening to lately. It's in my truck and I crank it up!

There is a lot going on, on this 17 track CD! It's dramatic, mysterious and romantic while at the same time uplifting and motivating. It's also a bit dance with an occasional 80's feel to it. I love it!

I've been asking myself, "self, how can I use my tiny little blog to further His Kingdom?". And though I don't have a final answer for myself on that one, I figured a little Church Music wouldn't hurt!

One lucky winner will get their very own brand new copy of David Crowder Band Church Music! Yup, it's sitting right here ready to ship!

And coming along with it will be this new he loves hand stamped necklace pictured below! Inspired by their song How He Loves. Sterling silver and features a tiny cross and "he loves" hand stamped along the bottom.

To Enter: This time it's gonna be simple! Leave us a comment and let us know what your favorite Bible Verse is. And if there is a reason behind it being your fave tell us that too. That's it! Good Luck!

Open to US residents only through Thursday, May 20th. Winner will be announced this Friday! Make sure we have a way to contact you if you should win.

  3. My very favorite verse is:

    Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This verse is my favorite because I am so broked hearted by not being able to have a second baby. I don't understand why, but I try to tell myself that God does have a plan for me and it is something better than what I could ever want in my plans for myself! I try to have hope that there will be a baby for us someday from somewhere!

And I love DCB! I would love to win this fabu prize!

I had to choose a favorite Bible verse for my high school yearbook, and through the years, it continues to remain among my favorites ---

"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow - for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

... this verse always reminds me to not get too worked-up & worried about things.

  18. My Favorite bible verse is 1st Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

The reason this is my favorite verse is because Jesus was all about Love himself. My husband and I wrap this verse around our Marriage and try our very hardest to model the love we show towards each other as well as to others after this verse of love.

Thanks for the opportunity to win. I absolutely love David Crowder!

    Be Blessed!

  23. My favorite is Psalm 23 for several reasons. First my Granny had it hanging on her wall and I always loved that picture. Second it is very comforting in many situations. God is in control and I am more than happy to let him be my shepherd. Thanks for the awesome giveaway. Have a blessed week!
    Psalm 23
    A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

    3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
    for his name's sake.

    4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
    I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
    your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
    You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
    forever.
